Day 01 Upon arrival our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, The Royal Garden Riverside, a Marriott Hotel. Dinner will be on your own. (B/L) Day 02 After breakfast our guide will arrange a full day tour, seat in coach basis, to the Summer palace at Ayuthaya. The morning starts by bus from the hotel the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya where you will walk through the ancient ruins. Then you will continue to Bang Pa-in Summer Palace of the late King Rama V. The palace grounds have exquisite works of art and the gardens are groomed in the fashion likened to the European chateau gardens. Early afternoon you board the Pearl of Siam and cruise back to Bangkok. You arrive back after a 3hour voyage, down the Chao Phya River. Lunch is served on board this being a very relaxing journey seeing Thailands life on the River and klongs. (B/L) Day 03 After breakfast our guide will pick you up and take you for a tour of the Royal Grand Palace. After the palace you will go through the dazzling Wat Phra Kaew, with its revered Emerald Buddha, Golden Chedi, pantheon of Chakri Kings and eight colored towers. Photography is permitted in the Royal Palace grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple; but, not inside the buildings. Please dress respectfully, by not wearing T-shirts, shorts or sandals, when visiting the palace and temple. You will return to the hotel by noontime and the remainder of the day is on your own. (B) Day 04 Samui Island After breakfast our guide will pick you up for a transfer to the airport for your next flight on Bangkok Airways flight PG119 to Samui Island. Your flight departs at 11:00am, getting into Samui at 12:20. The hotel driver will meet you there and transfer you to the Central Samui Resort Hotel where the remainder of the day is on your own. Lunch and dinner is on your own. (B) Day 05 After breakfast enjoy the island on your own. (B) Day 06 After breakfast enjoy the day on your own. (B) Day 07 Chiang Mai After breakfast transfer with the hotel driver to the airport, for your flight on Bangkok Airways flight PG114 departing at 0910am, to Bangkok arriving at 10:30am connecting at Bangkok with Thai International flight TG110, departing Bangkok at 12:15pm getting into Chiang Mai at 1:25pm. There our guide will meet you and take you for a private tour of the Meo Hill Tribe village. You will also climb the steps to Wat Prathard Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai, containing holy relics of the Lord Buddha. The temple is situated on a hill 3,500 feet above sea and dates back to 1383ad. The temple compound offers an exhilarating view of Chiang Mai City and the surrounding countryside. In the afternoon you will be brought to the Regent Hotel. You will have dinner on your own. (B) Day 08 After breakfast you may explore Chiang Mai on your own. If you have any special wishes, our local guide can assist you. (B) Day 09 Chiang Rai After an early breakfast our guide will transfer you to the airport for Thai International flight TG180 a very early departure at 07:30am. You arrive at Chiang Rai at 0805am. Our local guide will meet you and take you for a tour of Chiang Rai. You will check-in at the Dusit Island Resort. After lunch, on your own, our guide will pick you up for an afternoon river cruise on the Mekong River. This is the same Mekong River that flows south through Indo-China along the borders of Laos and Thailand, entering into Cambodia, continuing into South Vietnam. This was a contested waterway during the Vietnam War era, and a major supply route for all the warring factions. Day 10 Bangkok and onward After breakfast take the morning at your leisure and our guide will transfer you to the airport at approximately 11:00am. Your Thai International flight TG133 departs at 1250pm getting into Bangkok at 2:05pm. There you can connect to your onward flight.
