DAY 01 ARRIVAL COLOMBO

Arrival at Colombo Airport - Meet, Assist and transfer to hotel.
Check in at the hotel. After lunch proceed for city tour visiting the
Fort which is the heart of the city of Colombo-Petteh, the busy Bazaa
area and Market place - Town Hall and Cinnamon Gardens - Bandaranaike
Memorial International Conference Hall - New Parliamentary Complex -
The Zoological Gardens. Evening at leisure and for shopping. Dinner
and overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 COLOMBO - SIGIRIYA (169 KMS / 3 HRS)

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya - en route take a short break at
Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. At this orphanage you will find
elephants of all ages that have been abandoned and the unique feature
is that one could feed the baby elephants with milk bottles during
the feeding times. Check in at hote where culture and nature meet.
After lunch adventure lovers may climb the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya
which tells a tale of power, intrigue and tragedy. Its founder, King
Kassyapa, who murdered his father, seized the throne from his
brother, the rightful heir, then fled to the 182 meter high rock and
built his palace there, safe from his enemies - a return climb would
normally take 2 hours OR Visit Dambulla, a 20 mins/ 15 kms drive
to see the ancient rock cave temples dating back to the 1st Century
B.C. Dambulla Rock is 152 meters in height with a colossal recumbent
figure of Lord Buddha, 14 meters in length. The paintings on the
ceilings of the caves depict great events in the life of Buddha.

DAY 03 SIGIRIYA - KANDY (92 KMS / 1 HRS 30 MIN)
After breakfast proceed to Kandy, the last capital of the classical
independent Sinhalese Kingdom that retains an aura of grandeur which
time has not affected. Check in at the hotel. After Lunch, proceed
for city tour visiting the "Temple of the Tooth", a relic which grown
in repute ever since Lord Buddha's tooth was brought to Sri Lanka as
far back as 4th Century A.D. - Peradeniya Botanical Gardens - Kandy
Lake - St. Paul's Church - The National Museum. A short stop in the
city for shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 04 KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA (77 KMS/ 3 HRS)

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya which lies at an elevation of
6128 ft. at the foot of Mt. Pidurutalagala. Enjoy your drive through
this Hill Country amidst acres of tea plantations and water falls,
pleasing to the eye. Check in at hotel. After lunch a small tour of
this hill resort - visit Sita Amman Kovil; it was here that Sita was
held in captivity by Ravana. Golfers may visit the "Greens" at
Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 05 NUWARA ELIYA - BEACH RESORT (230 KMS / 4 HRS)

After breakfast proceed to the South Coast Beach Resort via
Ratnapura, the City of Gems. Lunch at Ratnapur - Gem lovers will be
given time for shopping. And from the hill tops arrive to the
Sun-Sea-Sand. Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 06 BEACH RESORT

At leisure.

DAY 07 BEACH RESORT - AIRPORT (90 KMS / 2 HRS 30 MIN)

At leisure proceed to Airport to board your flight. Your escort will
assist you with departure formalities and bid you farewell.
