We need a lead price air $300 plus 2 x 65.00=$430.00 in order to
make this work last 3 Jan. departures.

Day 1 Thursday.
Departure from Chicago on SAS to Copenhagen, arriving the next
morning at 07:30.

Day 2 Friday.
After arrival at Copenhagen in the morning, take a bus or a taxi
on your own, to the Komfort Hotel, or similar category. Check-in
can begin at noon, subject to room availablity. You may wish to
take a stroll to Town Square only two blocks away.
You may choose to take a 3 hour city sightseeing tour;
A stroll down the famous walking street "Stroeget" is
recommended. You can find many small bars and
restaurants at Nyhavn, (the waterfront of the old part of the city),
and the Little Mermaid is not too far off, if you care to walk from
Nyhavn. Dinner is on your own it can be recomended.
A glass of wine or a beer in the Famous Hviid's Vinstue or
Skinbuksen right around the corner, is worth a stop. Although
be aware, that in Danish pubs and bars the smoke can get thick.

Day 3 Saturday
After Breakfast why not walk to the train station and take a train
to Hilleroed, and see the Frederiksborg Castle. You can walk
from the station at Hilleroed. In the castle there is an active Castle
Chapel, where there will be a prostestant service Sunday morning.
After the castle tour you may wish to continue by train to
Helsingoer (Elsinore), and walk to the famous castle "Hamlets
Castle" which by its real name is called Kronborg Castle, made
famous by Shakespeares Play "Hamlet". There is a lot to see there
amongst other Europes largest Knights Hall. Both Frederiksborg
and Kronborg Castles were built by the late King Christian IV.
While at Helsingoer, you may wish to hop on one of the many
Ferries operating between Denmark and Sweden. A 20 minute ride
will take you to Helsingborg, on the other side of the Sound.
From Helsingoer you can also take the train back to Copenhagen
and possible stop by the Louisianna - Museum of Modern Art
located just south of Helsingoer.

Day 4 Sunday
After breakfast go to the airport for your next flight to Stockholm.
After arrival at Stockholm mid morning, take a bus to the
downtown terminal and check into the Frey's Hotel right next to
the terminal. The day is on your own. It is recommended to stroll
into the Old City "Gamla Stan". and se all the interesting shops and
old buildings. This is a good place to take in dinner on your own.

Day 5 Monday
After Breakfast why not visit the Vasa Ship, the 1000year old
ship raised from the bottom of Stockholm Harbour. You may also
wish to see the sights in Stockholm, the City Hall, the Royal Palace
and much more.

Day 6 Tuesday
After breakfast your last day in Stockholm you may wish to do
some shopping in this high fashion city. In the evening it is
recomended to visit some of Stockholms many fine restaurants and
nightspots, such as Opera Kjaelleran.

Day 7 Wednesday.
After breakfast you should proceed to Arlanda Airport for your
mid-morning flight to Oslo. After arrival at Oslo's Fornebu
Airport, take a bus into the city and continue by taxi to the Comfort
Boersparken Hotel. Anyone up for shopping for Norwegian
Sweaters?
You may wish to enjoy a stroll down Oslo's main walking street
Carl Johan. Perhaps an afternoon tour of the harbor front,
and a dinner on your own at one of Oslo's many great restaurants.


Day 8 Thursday
After breakfast you may wish to take a tour of the Frogner Park,
see the Holmenkollen Ski jump and Museum, The Thor
Heyerdahl's "RA" Museum and the Viking ship museum nearby.
There are many wonderful experiences in Oslo.
A quiet dinner is recommended perhaps at Holmenkollen or in the
city at the waterfront.

Day 9 Friday
After an early breakfast you will need to go to the airport for your
8:30am flight for Copenhagen connecting to your homebound
flight 10:40am departure.You need to check-in 1 1/2 hr prior to
departure.
You will have just enough time to do some last minute duty free
shopping, Copenhagen Airport Duty Free Shopping Center is
one of the best in Europe.

The program offers you Air transportation, three star hotel, based
on two persons sharing a twin, breakfast daily.

Options:
3 day 2 night to Bergen, taking train from Oslo to Flom, then a
fjord express ferry to Gudvang, then a bus to Voss and a train
into Bergen. Spend 2 nights at the Comfort Holberg Hotel
with breakfast. $280.00 and single supplement $95.00

Other options can be arranged, extended stay in Scandinavia, trips
a 2 night cruise on Viking Line to Finland, or a One way Cruise to
Denmark..
