Scandinavia 5 day 4 night Weekend Cruise to Copenhagen from $879.00

Day 1 Friday.
Departure from Chicago on SAS to Copenhagen, arriving the next
morning at 07:30.

Day 2 Saturday.
After arrival at Copenhagen in the morning, make a direct
connection to the Oslo flight, departing approximately at 9:00am.
Upon arrival at Oslo's Fornebu Airport, take a bus into the city
and continue by taxi to the Comfort Boersparken Hotel.
You may wish to enjoy a stroll down Oslo's main walking street
Carl Johan. Perhaps an afternoon tour of the harbor front,
and a dinner on your own at one of Oslo's many great restaurants.


Day 3 Sunday
After breakfast you may wish to take a tour of the Frogner Park,
see the Holmenkollen Ski jump and Museum, The Thor
Heyerdahl's "RA" Museum and the Viking ship museum nearby.
There are many wonderful experiences in Oslo.
A quiet dinner is recommended perhaps at Holmenkollen or in the
city at the waterfront.

Day 4 Monday
After breakfast you may wish to go shopping for Norwegian
sweaters, the latest in Scandinavian fashion or simply sightsee.
Early afternoon you should prepare to leave the hotel for the pier,
where you will board the DFDS Seaways ship late afternoon, for
an early evening departure for Copenhagen. You will spend 2
nights on board ship. There are a good variety of choices for
dining on board. You can go cafeteria style or dine in one of the
restaurants.

Day 4 Tuesday
Before breakfast or during, you will witness a beautiful sailing into
the Oresund Strait, after making an early morning call at
Helsingborg Sweden. 9:00am. After clearing the formalities you
should go to the Absalon Hotel and drop your luggage. You
may wish to take a 3 hour city, on you own , based on seat in coach
guided tour, of Copenhagen, walk to see the little Mermaid, or
walk up to Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv continuing the walk into
the famous walking stret "Stroeget" all the way to The Royal
Copenhagen shop. You may pass by Illums and Magasin Du Nord
department stores which also are very tempting.
A nice farewell dinner in Copenhagen can be had many places near
your hotel or you may wish to visit Grey Friars Square for a
broader selection.

Day 5 Wednesday
After an early breakfast you will need to go to the airport for your
10:40am departure.You need to check-in 1 1/2 hr prior to
departure. If you get to the airport by 9:00am.
You will have just enough time to do some last minute duty free
shopping, Copenhagen Airport Duty Free Shopping Center is
one of the best in Europe.

The program offers you Air transportation, three star hotel, cruise
ticket - inside cabin accommodations, based on two persons
sharing a twin, breakfast daily.

Options:
3 day 2 night to Bergen, taking train from Oslo to Flom, then a
fjord express ferry to Gudvang, then a bus to Voss and a train
into Bergen. Spend 2 nights at the Comfort Holberg Hotel
