Day 01, Arrival Upon arriving Chicago airport, Our guide will assist you to the hotel, located in the central downtown, and help your check-in. Day 02, Chicago Today you have a half day Chicago sightseeing tour by coach. Picked up in the morning and firstly visit Historic Water Tower. Starting at the "Attractive one mile", you can see breathtaking architectures along the Chicago River. And at the Sears Tower, ride the elevator to the top, 443 meters high above sea level. After enjoying the great view of Chicago, you will be dropped at Grand Park for a stroll along the shore of Michigan Lake. The coach will return to the hotel, however you may wish to continue at leisure by yourself. Do not miss to visit "The Art Institute of Chicago" for who is interested in art, it is stated one of the three major art museums in United States, others are Metropolitan Museum in NY and Boston Museum in MA. Day 03, Chicago - St. Louis In contrast with previous day, you travel across the fertile Illinois farmlands today en route to St. Louis, the "Gateway to the West". In a deluxe motor coach . The huge prairie lands now cultivated into rural Illinois fills your heart with a peaceful feeling. You will stop at a local nostalgic restaurant for lunch. Upon arriving at St. Louis, you will be dropped off at Union Station, a big home also to shopping mall. Take some time to get your things and look around. Today the train enters Tennessee, and is bound for Memphis, the "Home of the Blues", a city with a distinct southern flavor. After Arrival, you enjoyed a guided tour of the city followed by a visit to the gardens and mansion of Elvis Presley's GRACELAND. Next you visit " The Sun Studio", is the most famous recording studios in the world, symbolizing "The Birthplace of Rock'n Roll". Lunch at a local restaurant, you can try a dish made of "Catfish", which is the favorite of the locals. You can spend your time on your own until departure. There are a lot of interesting places to see moreover, The National Civil Rights Museum, Chucalissa Archaeological Museum, Beals Street Historic District etc. In the evening you should ride, taste your dinner and be relaxed in your way. The train continues south towards New Orleans. Enjoy a wonderful dinner as evening in the lounge car. Day 05, Memphis - New Orleans After breakfast, the train slides into New Orleans Union Station Where you disembark. In Louisiana, you will experience a cozy atmosphere of the deep south. At New Orleans, you might smell a colonial mood of Europe, based on its unique history, that is French and Spanish from the occupations over 200 years ago. So in the sightseeing in the morning, you explore French Quarter, including Jackson Square and Pirate"s Alley. And visit St. Louis Cathedral and French Market. And you enjoy Cajun foods in a restaurant. The afternoon is set aside for independent sightseeing and shopping. Today's accommodation is "Hotel St. Marie", we are convinced of making your stay grateful. It is located in two blocks from "Bourbon Street" and supplies you heartwarming hospitality. In the night time, you should jump into the exciting "Bourbon Street"!! It has abundant entertainment to make you much pleasant, live houses, local taverns, street performance any more. Day 06, New Orleans Whole day is yours at leisure. New Orleans above-ground cemetery, Garden district, Louisiana Superdome are place to see. If you have no suggestion to do, you are highly recommended to participate the excursion of "Plantation House". It is one of the residences owned by the rich lord who manages huge plantation. It remains as in those days, you will be admired by a lot of gorgeous antiques and furniture. And you know New Orleans prosperity in 1900's which was established on the victim of numerous slaves. In the evening, you all members are collected at hotels and go to the pier. Now you start the cruise of Mississippi River by Delta Queen Steamboat. They have two elegant steamboats, the legendary Delta Queen and the magnificent Mississippi Queen. Delta Queen is admirable by rich woodwork, the soft glow of her stained glass transoms, her glittering crystal chandelier and antique furnishings. Mississippi Queen is proud of her richly appointed rooms, her Tiffany Studios stained glass and succumb to the call of the worlds largest calliope. In both ladies, every stateroom is individually climate-controlled. Night or day, theres always something going on in the Grand Saloon. Aboard on her, your life can be as vivacious or as relaxed as you want to make it.. Day 07 - 13, Mississippi River Cruise The Delta Queen Steamboat, depending on the date of departure, one of three courses is available. 1. New Orleans Round-trip (7 nights): Visit to Oak Alley, St. Francisville, Natches, Vicksburg and Baton Rouge. 2.New Orleans to Galveston (7 nights): Visiting Port of Iberia, Port Arthur plus 2 nights in Galveston. 3.New Orleans to Memphis (7 nights): Visit to Oak Alley, St. Francisville, Natches, Vicksburg and Helena. They have various types of rooms from the category AAA (Suite) to F (Inside Cabin). All meals are served on board during your cruise. Day 14, (Port of disembarkation) Leave the ship in the morning. You should be arranged a post-cruise hotels and excursions, meals, whatever you need. Day 15, Depature You are transferred to airport. We are willing to support you until your check-in is completed, with adapting your flight time.
