This tour begins with the specific itinerary of our Norway's Fjords &
Countryside Tour. Your coach departs from historic Oslo, into the three major fjords
of Hardanger, Sogne and Geiranger, tours the Old World Hanseatic charm of Bergen, the
Jotenheimen Mountains and the Olympic village of Lillehammer. The ideal combination of
scenery, culture and history!
Experience one of Scandinavian's finest rail journeys to Stockholm, through the
Lakeland beauty and folklore-rich Swedish countryside. Cozy Galma Stan's
cobblestones and antique shops contrast with the sumptuous Royal Palace's rich blue and
gold rooms and tiled mosaics of City Hall (where the Nobel Prize banquet is held). Leave
this cultural haven on the luxury liner Silja Line for an overnight sunset archipelago
cruise to Helsinki. Enjoy busy market places, design house shopping and domed
cathedrals with neoclassical architecture-the Finnish capital is so much more than a
stepping stone to Russia and the Baltics!
With crowning glory, Czarist St. Petersburg sparkles on the horizon- a beacon
highlighting the opulence and power of a ruling class moved by culture and arts. Explore
the magnificence of Peterhof, summer residence of the Czars, Peter and Paul Fortress and
its legendary prisoners and the Hermitage art collections that rivals the Louvre.
Special events include a Russian ballet performance, folklore show and Farewell dinner at
Landskrona, high atop the city and one of St. Petersburg's top dining venues!
