Cancellation Fee Waiver:
Be prepared for those unexpected emergencies. To protect yourself
against cancellation charges on the land/tour portion we offer a $150.00
per person "Tour Cancellation Protection Plan". When you
participate
and then must cancel your tour for any reason and you advise Aviation &
Tourism International, Inc. (fax 1 847 256 6839) in writing up to 12 noon
Central Time on the last business day prior to departure, (Saturdays, Sundays
and Holidays are not considered business days) you will receive a full
refund of all monies paid to us for tour arrangements. This does not
include airline tickets, but land package only. Air tickets are governed by
seperate rules. See Cancellation Fees : Airlines. Cancellation fee waiver
must be added to required deposit at the time of booking, is non-refundable,
non-transferable and may not be purchased at a later date. Airline
penalties
assessed by airlines are not covered. Any tickets and documents must be
returned to Aviation & Tourism International within 48 hours of cancellation.
If Tour Cancellation Protection Plan is not taken, following applies:
Cancellation Fees: Tour packages*
Up to 60 days prior to departure $50 per person handling fee.
59-45 days prior to departure 10% of cost per person or $75 whichever is higher.
44-30 days prior to departure 20% of cost per person or $100 whichever is higher.
29 - 15 days prior to departure 50% of land cost per person or $200 whichever is higher.
14 days or less 90% of tour cost per person.
Cancellation Fees: Airlines
Generally lowest cost tourist class airfares are used and are non-refundable
non-endorsable and
non changeable. In cases where passengers upgrade to full fare economy or business/first
class
tickets, such tickets are generally non-restrictive and fully refundable. Each case must
be checked
for rules and restrictions with your travel agency office. Handling fee of $50.00 will be
charged
for cancelling a refundable ticket.
*INSURANCE:
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOUR CLIENT PURCHASES TRAVEL
GUARD INSURANCE, A FLIGHT INTERRUPTION AND HEALTH PROTECTION
NECESSARY WHEN TRAVELING ABROAD!
In case of illness/accidents causing delay of travel, tickets that are non-refundable,
non changeable and non-endorsable are covered by such travel insurance, IF IT
IS A LEGITIMATE AND QUALIFIED EXCUSE.
In case where insurance is taken at time of initial booking, faxed directly to Travel
Guard, with a credit card form of payment, Travel Guard also insures pre-existing
conditions!
