Day 01 and 02

Depart USA for Hongkong and Beijing. You cross the dateline and lose a day.

Day 03

After arrival on CX881 at 0645 connect to Dragon Air KA 900 departing for Beijing at 0800 arriving at 1055am. Upon arrival at Beijing you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel, the Radisson SAS Hotel. Located at 6a East Beisanhuan Road, 100006 Beijing.

Day 04

After breakfast take a full day tour of Beijing, including lunch. You will see the Summer Palace and Lama Temple and have a Chinese lunch.

Day 05

After breakfast you will have a full day tour to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, including lunch, the evening is on your own .

Day 06

After breakfast you will enjoy another full day tour in Beijing, to the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, including lunch. In the evening you will have a farewell Peking Duck dinner.

Day 07

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian CA1215 departs at 0735 and arrives at 0910. Upon arrival you will be met and taken on a city tour prior to being transferred to the Hotel. You will have lunch at the hotel and take another tour in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel, and the evening is on your own.

Day 08

After breakfast you will have the morning free. After lunch you will transfer to the airport for your Dragon Air flight departing for Hongkong.. There you will be met and transferred to The Regal Airport hotel for the overnight.

Day 09

After breakfast transfer directly to the airport for the Cathay Pacific flight to Bali, CX 785 departing at 1015am arriving at Bali at 3:00pm. Transfer to the Amankila Hotel. The late afternoon at leisure, with dinner on your own. (B)

Day 10

Bali Tour (B) You may wish to extend stay in Bali and not visit Jogjakarta. See: Bali

Day 11

Bali free day

Day 12

Bali - Jogjakarta. Fly to JOG met on arrival and take a tour. of JOG. Check-in to Melia Purosani Hotel in JOG. (B)

Day 13

Jogjakarta - After breakfast day at leisure.

Day 14

Jogjakarta to Jakarta to Singapore - Goodwood Park Hotel. Fly from Jakarta late afternoon and arrive Singapore early evening for overnight

Day 15

After breakfast it is recommended to take morning tour of the Harbor. This can be re-arranged for the afternoon if you prefer. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel and return there approximately 3 hours later. The remainder of the day on your own. A drink at the "Long Bar" at the Raffles Hotel may be in order and can be recommended. This is where the famous "Singapore Sling" was invented.

Day 16

After breakfast at your hotel you may take a morning city tour, visiting China Town and seeing the sights. Our guide will pick you up and drop you back at the hotel at noon time. The early afternoon can be at leisure for shopping etc., or you can visit the fabulous Zoo where you can enjoy tea with an Orangutang.

Day 17

After breakfast take the morning free on your own. Have a leisurely lunch and mid- afternoon you will transfer to the Railway Station for check-in at the terminal for the Eastern and Orient Express train departure at 14:45pm. You will make a stop in Kuala Lumpur mid-evening where dinner will be served after departure from Kuala Lumpur. All meals on board.

Day 18

After Brekfast you will arrive into Butterworth - Penang. At near noon you will continue up the Malay Peninsula into Thailand,

Day 19

After arriving into Hua Hin at early morning breakfast will be served. You will continue to Bangkok where arrival is scheduled at 2:45pm. Breakfast and lunch and afternoon tea is served. Upon arrival into The Bangkok Railway Station you will be met by our guide who will transfer you to The Oriental Hotel. Dinner will be on your own.

Day 20

After breakfast at your hotel take a full day tour to The Ancient Capital and The Summer Palace at Ayuthaya. The morning starts by bus from the Oriental Hotel, accross the river from your hotel. You drive up and early afternoon you board the MS Oriental Queen or similar, and cruise back to the Oriental Hotel. You arrive back after a 3 hour voyage, down the River. This is a very relaxing and a great excursion, perfect for the day following a long journey. Dinner is on your own.

Day 21

After breakfast you may wish the day on your own or take a half day tour to the Grand Palace or the floating market. The afternoon free and you can decide which time of day you wish to fly to Samui Island. Bangkok Airways operates almost every hour. On arrival you will be met by the hotel driver taking you to The Central Samui Beach Resort. Dinner is on your own.

Day 22

After breakfast the day is on your own to enjoy the island.

Day 23

After breakfast enjoy more of this seaside resort on the Gulf of Siam.

Day 24

After breakfast transfer to the airport for an hour long flight to Bangkok connecting to the Thai flight to Chiang Mai. You are met on arrival and go immediately on a private tour to visit the Meo Hill Tribe. After the tour you transfer to The Regent Hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight at The Regent Chiang Mai. (B)

Day 25

After breakfast continue trip to Chiang Rai. Have an afternoon River Cruise on the
Mekong River. You will stay at The Dusit Island Resort. (B)

Day 26

Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai
After breakfast transfer back to Chiang Mai with transfer to your hotel, for a day on your own. Overnight at The Regent Hotel Chiang Mai. (B)

Day 27

After early breakfast fly to Hongkong via Bangkok. There you will be met and transferred to the Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon. You will have the afternoon and evening on your own to explore.

Day 28

After breakfast take a tour of Hongkong Island, visiting Abardeen and the top of Victoria Peak. Have lunch on your own and ride the tram down taking the Star Ferry back to Kowloon. The afternoon is free and you can of course explore the Thieves market in Kowloond during the evening. Dinner is on your own.

Day 29

The last day in Hongkong is on your own, unless you wish a day trip to Macau. This is a worthwhile day trip seeing the Portugese settlement which is a Hydrofoil excursion away. Return to Kowloon late afternoon or early evening. Dinner is on your own.

Day 30

Prepare to return home.
